Today, the popularity of AR and VR technology is undeniable. But it is worth noting that in addition to the WOW effect, these technologies also have practical benefits. They are used in various fields such as tourism, medicine, real estate, etc. Today, we will dwell in more detail on the use of AR and VR technologies in education and consider what benefit can be from this. Firstly, the use of any modern technology, in our case, this AR and VR arouses in children an interest in learning. In addition to static pictures in the book, live animations appear in familiar gadgets and this attracts both preschoolers and high school students.

- Secondly, the use of AR and VR technologies simplifies the flow of complex material. Any theories or experiments can be clearly demonstrated to students, also in an interesting form. Thus, a clear understanding and presentation of new material will be formed in children, which, thanks to vivid emotions, is also better imprinted in memory.
- Thirdly, individual lessons / topics in the AR format can qualitatively replace standard, familiar lessons. This format is very useful when students have certain restrictions in the learning process: quarantine, home schooling, poor school facilities, etc. Thanks to AR technology, any student, wherever he is, can only conduct a physics experiment using a smartphone or chemistry, consider the structure of plants or the human body and eventually obtain the necessary knowledge.
In this area, we can already call ourselves specialists, because first we created the social project ARBOOK.INFO (for more details see here https://arbook.info/), and now we are working on a large-scale educational project commissioned by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Of course, this one deserves special attention, so we will talk about this project in the next article.
