How to use AR_Book: a quick guide by the team

AR_Book is an interactive app for passing school curriculum experiments in AR|VR|3D formats.  Interactive features are available for increasing  student attention and improving work efficiency.

Our unique approach is to find solutions for delivering practical lessons by using deep analytics and providing reflection.  When the teacher can monitor each student’s rate of attention even during the class. The toolkit of the AR_Book system contains various tests and experiments that correspond to the school program approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The project’s main task is to make the latest technologies easy to use, so we want to present to you  a short AR_Book guide.

The system will immediately prompt you to register when you open the application. You can complete quick registration or skip this step and register later. But do not forget that in order to participate in the educational process, you must create a personal profile. After this most crucial step, you directly get access to digital education, where you can easily find more than 2000 tests on various subjects, 200 author’s experiments, and the opportunity for parents to join the learning process by watching their child’s progress.

How to effectively use all of these?

Step 1: Choose the school subject you need from the list in the main menu.

After choosing the mobile application will offer to select a suitable topic and one of the experiments for this topic.

Step 2: Choose the option to view the experiment.

It can be a 3D model on the phone or an experiment using virtual reality (AR).

Step 3: If you want to view the 3D model on your phone.

Additional calibrations are not required. The investigation will turn on immediately. You can use other buttons to rotate and increase/decrease the model for your convenience.

Step 4: If you want to view the experiment in augmented reality (AR).

To begin with, the mobile application will prompt you to calibrate the image. To do this:

  1. Point your phone’s camera at a flat surface and move your phone until the following field appears.
  2. Tap on the area to place the model.

It’s that simple! It is easy to involve the latest technologies in working practice when there is a digital assistant AR-Book 😉
